THE former Sports Direct fitness gym was reportedly broken into just after Christmas.
The gym closed suddenly on December 11 - and members and staff were given just hours' notice before the doors were closed for good.
Wiltshire Police told the Journal: "We are investigating a report that LA Fitness in Summerlock Approach Salisbury was broken into and damage caused – believed to have happened during the morning of December 28.
"Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230137013."
