RECENT heavy rainfall has led to swollen rivers and a watery transformation at one of Salisbury's favourite parks.
Large parts of Queen Elizabeth Gardens have been submerged after the latest night of heavy rain.
The extent of the transformation is only truly apparent when you see how the river has reclaimed the park blocking off access to public benches now surrounded by water and the river water has extended capturing the rubbish bin by the bridge.

A pale sun emerged this morning providing stunning reflections across the park with dark and light contrasts and views across to Salisbury Cathedral.
