A SALISBURY man has appeared in court for possessing class-A drugs in a market town.
Andrew Charlton, 38, of Exeter Street in Salisbury, was found with crack cocaine on Blyth Road in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, on December 30.
He was later searched at Mansfield Police Station, on Great Central Road, where officers found heroin in his possession.
Charlton indicated a guilty plea to both charges at Mansfield Magistrates Court on December 20.
Magistrates sentenced him to a 12-month conditional discharge.
Forfeiture and destruction of the drugs were ordered and Charlton did not have to pay costs.
