Parking will be temporarily suspended on Exeter Street in the new year.
It will be to enable provision to be made for coach parking while works to refurbish the coach park in Millstream Approach are undertaken..
Notice has been given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an order to temporarily suspend: Parking Monday to Saturday, 8am - 6pm, two hours, no return within four hours on the following road: Exeter Street - West Side - from a point 15 metres north of its junction with Carmelite Way to a point 79 metres north of that junction.
And to temporarily introduce Bus Parking, 8am - 6pm: Exeter Street – West Side – from a point 15 metres north of its junction with Carmelite Way to a point 79 metres north of that junction.
This order will come into operation on January 8, 2024, and it is anticipated to be required until April 30, 2024.
For the purpose of the Order “bus parking bay” means any area of carriageway of a specified road, intended for the waiting of a bus not operating a registered local service which is comprised within and indicated by a road marking complying with diagram 1028.4 in Schedule 7, Part 4 of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
