Owner Jamie-Lee Jones, 37, has worked in the beauty industry for 15 years and living with autism and ADHD has increased determination to make the salon fully inclusive providing accessibility and sanctuary for those who need a tranquil experience.

Jamie-Lee said: "We cater for gender identities, disabled people, and those with anxiety. Sometimes, people don't want to come into a busy salon. They may feel nervous. We make them welcome.

"We can even do silent treatments and the person can listen to music or do treatments while someone is in a wheelchair."

The salon offers a wide range of treatments - for nails, lash extensions, waxing, spray tanning, permanent hair removal treatments, shrinking violet body wraps, advanced skincare services and hypnotherapy.

There is a private carpark, and wheelchair access with wide doorways and a disabled toilet and the Soul Sanctuary is perfect for clients who may be anxious, or lacking in confidence socially.

Jamie-Lee said: "This enables them to enjoy the services without entering the bustling main area of the salon. It is a mission of mine for the salon to be inclusive and to provide great service to our clients."

B-Unique tries to bridge the gap between outer beauty while embracing inner beauty and the company customises services for each individual.

Jamie-Lee is very selective when employing staff taking time to determine that everyone has the same dedication to the cause.

Jamie-Lee added: "We just want people to feel comfortable when they come here and to be pampered. It is a wonderful thing to see the change in a person and they leave the salon on top of the world."
