A RUGBY club played their part as Santa’s elves to help hand out festive treats to children visiting Father Christmas.
Ellingham & Ringwood Rugby Club have been supporting multiple events over the festive period including the Christmas light switch on and through a generous donation.
Becci Winsor, the club’s bar manager, helps organise town events and reached out for help from the rugby club’s junior teams.
Isaac, Archie, Freddie, Finlay and Arthur all volunteered to play Santa’s friendly elves after their match.
The rugby club also helped the Ringwood Round Table bar by supplying beer and wine from their clubhouse to raise funds for charities in the local area.
Ringwood Round Table escort Santa around local roads to collect for the Ringwood Food Bank and also support the club by helping to fund their matchday video camera and international honours board 2023.
The club made a donation and ran a collection over a weekend to raise money for the Ringwood Foodbank, raising over £400 in total.
The money has been used to buy Christmas food that will go in bags for children in low income households.
