A DRINK driver flipped his car onto its roof in a crash over the weekend.
Gareth Johnstone, 32, of Castle Road, Salisbury was arrested and charged with drink driving after he crashed his car, flipping it onto its roof just after 1pm on Sunday, December 10.
Johnstone was speeding down the A30 in his black BMW when he attempted an overtake, before losing control and crashing into a tree.

The driver then provided a roadside breath result of 109 (legal limit 35)

He provided a roadside breath result of 109, which is over three times the legal limit of 35.
Police said they “responded to reports of a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle, that had flipped onto its roof on Stockbridge Road, near Lopcombe Corner just after 1pm yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
"He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on January 16."
