A MAN has been charged after a person in his 50s appeared at a doctor surgery with stab wounds.
Police attended the incident at around 3.10pm on Thursday December 7, after a man turned up to Verwood Surgery on Station Road.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threating.
It is reported that the incident took place a short time before at an address in Verwood.
David Lloyd, 57 and of Verwood, was arrested and has since been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates Court on December 9 and is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on January 11, 2024.
