AN important railway line linking Salisbury to Yeovil is due to re-open following a landslip.
The railway line between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction will re-open tomorrow, Monday, December 11, following a landslip.
South Western Railway published the announcement on X, formerly Twitter, but stated that repairs for other parts of the line have been affected by "adverse weather".
SWR said: "The line between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction will re-open tomorrow, Monday, December 11, with trains running between London Waterloo and Yeovil Junction.

"Landslip repairs have been affected by adverse weather and as a result, the line between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St David's will not re-open until Wednesday, December 14."

SWR said: "We are advising customers not to attempt to travel between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St David's until Wednesday, December 13.
