A MAN in his 50s has been stabbed in Verwood.
Police officers attended an incident at around 3.10pm on Thursday, December 7 where an injured man in his 50s went to Verwood Surgery in Station Road with injuries.
The victim then went to hospital for treatment to his injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
It is reported that the incident occurred a short time before at an address in Verwood.
A 57-year-old local man was arrested by the police and has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, December 9 and is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday January 11.
