A FORDINGBRIDGE charity recently received a cash boost of more than £4,000 from a Co-op donation.
Fordingbridge Greener Living was the recipient of a cheque from Fordingbridge Co-op’s latest project 'supporting the local community', where customers vote for their most deserving local cause.
The £4,396.18 donation, handed over on Friday, December 8, will be used to develop the Fordingbridge Repair Cafe, community garden and various other on-going projects, including the community composter, the food fridge and the recycling shed.

Louise Tonkin, from the charity, said: “We had no idea of the generosity of the local Fordingbridge area community.
“We are so excited and grateful that the community chose us as their most deserving cause. This money will allow us to do so much to improve the town.”
