The streets of Salisbury will see snow no matter what the Met Office says, with the Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) taking the reins to ensure wintry weather.
After a successful test run of its snow machine on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 5, Dan Collins, business manager for the BID, said the dates and places to see snow in Salisbury will be released soon.

In years past, the BID’s snow machine has helped create festive scenes The Maltings, Guildhall Square, the Old George Mall and Salisbury Cathedral.
The dates and places where people can enjoy snow courtesy of the BID will be released after the examination of when weather forecasts will be favourable, as certain conditions are needed for the machine to function.
