A SECURITY guard working at a popular festive bar in the city centre was abused and assaulted in a fight.
The incident took place at about 10.30pm on Sunday, December 3 at Frost Bar which is located in the Market Square and a member of security was verbally abused and assaulted.

PC Jack Bailey said: “This is a busy local venue and members of the public would have been in the bar and the local area at the time - it is likely that somebody may have seen something and may have information which could assist our investigation.”
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault, and two counts of common assault on an emergency worker, and racially aggravated harassment. He has been released on conditional bail while further enquires take place.
