EXTREME rainfall and flooding has led to rail disruptions with customers from Salisbury advised not to travel towards Exeter.
Flooding has occurred on the Crewkerne area but the line between Salisbury and Exeter has been blocked.

Read more:South Western Railway (SWR) confirmed that rail replacement buses for the engineer working between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction are running but only as far as Sherborne due to flooding.

SWR has confirmed that no bus service replacements will be available onto Exeter and no buses or taxis can run between Yeovil Junction and Sherborne. The fire brigade is on site to take water away.
Passengers can travel from Salisbury to Westbury then Westbury to Yeovil Junction. These services are limited.
