Visitor Experience Officer, Jennifer Grene, said, “We’re so happy to be opening for Christmas for the first time since 2019. We want to make this Christmas magical as well as historical and A Christmas Carol seemed the perfect choice for helping to make memories at this festive time.

"We’ve decorated nearly the whole house, with upstairs open for the first time at Christmas, and we want visitors to feel like they’ve stepped into the pages of Charles Dickens’ work.”

For those who like crafts, a wreath-making workshop will take place on Monday, December 4 between 2pm and 4.30pm with local florist Kate Chadsey The ticket includes sustainable materials for the wreath, one-on-one time with Kate, refreshments and a behind the scenes tour of the house.
