CYCLING the wrong way down the one-way system in place on Fisherton Street is "incredibly dangerous".
That's according to a post on the Salisbury Police Facebook page.
Fisherton Street has significant road works in situ turning the street into a one-way system which progresses into the city but cyclists are still cycling against the one-way system into oncoming traffic.
Read more:Salisbury Police said: "Officers today visited Fisherton Street and almost instantly stopped a commuter cycling the wrong way. If the issue continues, fixed penalty notes will be given out to prevent this practice."
Police advise cyclists to use Crane Bridge Road which only adds a minute onto the journey.
