A PODIATRY clinic that closed suddenly earlier this year is set to reopen its Salisbury store.
Shuropody on New Canal unexpectedly shut its doors, seemingly for good, on Friday, June 30.
A sign can be seen in the shop window saying 'Store opening soon', and the Journal understands it is Shuropody reopening the shop.
Helen Smith, 56, was the store manager before it closed, but was made redundant.
Six members of staff and two podiatrists also lost their jobs that day, and the Journal understands some were offered their old jobs back.
Helen told the Journal in August that there were several Shuropody customers who had purchased treatment plans worth hundreds of pounds that they were then not able to use because of the sudden closure, and that they were not given refunds or the chance to redeem the plans elsewhere.
It is unclear whether these plans will now be redeemable once the store reopens.
Shuropody relocated from Catherine Street in 2019. The retailer went into administration on December 7, 2022, and was sold to a subsidiary of BAAJ Capital.
Shuropody has been contacted for more information.
