Winterfest, Salisbury’s annual beer and cider festival which was resurrected after covid this year, will be moving venue for its upcoming event.
This year’s event was held at Brown Street, though the cold weather made for a shivery experience.
The 2024 event will be held wholly indoors at The Guildhall and will take place three weeks later in February as opposed to the late January date of the previous festival.

Andrew Hesketh, festivals co-ordinator for the Salisbury and South Wiltshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), which organises the event, said: “After the cold weather experienced last year I am sure that everybody will all be pleased to hear that the event is going to be wholly indoors and in the warm.
“However, Winterfest XXV will continue the tradition of a comfortable, conversation-led festival with the possibility of a little acoustic background music and, of course, an excellent range of real ales and ciders.”
Winterfest XXV will begin at 6.30pm on Friday, February 16 and close at 11pm. The event will continue on Saturday, February 17 from 11am to 8pm. Tickets cost £9 and can be purchased on the festival’s website.
