On July 6, 2022, Asman was working as the assistant manager at The Chapter House pub and hotel when he entered room number eight and attempted to secretly watch a guest while she was sleeping.
Proceedings for the case were later transferred to Winchester Crown Court, where Asman appeared on Wednesday, November 22 and was sentenced to 34 months for knowingly/recklessly trespassing on premises with intent to commit a relevant sexual offence and two months to be served concurrently for attempting to observe a person doing a private act.
Asman was additionally sentenced for the charge of a separate crime committed in Bournemouth on Sunday, August 6, in which he attempted to operate a mobile phone beneath the clothing of another person without their consent to take photos or video. For this charge he was sentenced to two months confinement, meaning he will spend the next three years in prison.
