A YOUTUBER has canoed down the River Avon through the city centre.
Offcamping is a YouTube channel set up by William 'Billy' Richomme.
Billy creates camping and outdoor living content aimed at showing off the outdoor lifestyle in a fun and unique way, with videos such as 'Stealth Camping on a roundabout'.
He paid a visit to Salisbury on Tuesday, November 21, taking his canoe into the River Avon.
William said: "On Tuesday morning I paddled through Salisbury, through the Central car park testing out the 'New river' in my canoe."
In his video, entitled 'Thrilling Salisbury Whitewater Canoe Adventure', Billy can be seen assessing the river for hazards, before entering the river in his canoe.

The description of his video says: "In this video, we're going to learn nothing on how to canoe the infamous Salisbury Whitewater.
"Do not attempt anything like this if you haven't got any proper safety equipment or you're alone this video is purely for entertainment purposes only."
"This is the calm before the storm," he said as he paddled under a low bridge.
As he headed towards the River Park project, with various construction vehicles on either side of him, he said: "There's no turning back now."
After receiving a friendly 'toot' from a nearby vehicle, he can be heard muttering "I might get arrested... Someone just beeped."
"That was a little more uneventful than I thought it was going to be" he added after making his way past the construction area.
He then came to an abrupt stop when a low bridge caused him to be temporarily stuck.
He continued through the town centre, carefully avoiding the low tree branches he had noted in his earlier assessment, and said "They were the two bits I was worried about."
As he paddled past Wetherspoons, he jokingly remarked "Too late for a breakfast I suppose."
He continued down the river in order "to see how flooded it is."
As his journey ended, he said: "That was quite fun. When I got stuck under the bridge it wasn't fun.
"What do you reckon? The builders will go home with a story to tell today.
"The first descent of Salisbury's new rapids."
He also added a disclaimer: "Don't do what I do. Don't canoe through a building site."
Billy rounded off the video by leaving his canoe under a bridge before heading off to find his car.
The video can be found on his YouTube channel.
