A MAN has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a head-on car crash.
Two cars crashed on the A30 near Shaftesbury at around 6pm on Friday, November 17.
The driver of a silver BMW, a man in his 40s, was travelling towards Shaftesbury on the A30 when he collided with a black Toyota Verso travelling in the opposite direction.
He was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries and his next of kin was informed.
A woman in her 40s, who was driving the Toyota, and two children were taken to Salisbury Hospital with serious injuries.
