AN alpaca living just outside of Salisbury has become a rising star thanks to a new TV advert for a national retail brand.
Reggie the alpaca lives at Barefoot Barns in Firsdown and he scooped a prime role in TK Maxx’s festive video.
In the advert, Reggie is seen emerging from his hut warm and cosy in his green jumper and strutting to the strong by Eve ‘Let Me Blow Your Mind.’ Seemingly, a natural in front of the camera, Reggie and fellow alpacas Norman, Allan and Joey also do their bit for the community.

A group of alpacas from Barefoot Barns including Reggie visited Salisbury District Hospital and were treated to plenty of attention. The event was organised by the Hospital's Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
Dave Cates, from the Stars Appeal, said: “Alongside our work enhancing equipment and buildings at the hospital, we also try to fund morale boosting treats for patients and staff.
"It was wonderful to see the joy the alpacas brought to so many in the hospital. We extend our thanks to all our donors who make initiatives like this possible.”
Barefoot Barns was set up Barefoot Barns in 2019 with the aim of developing an alpaca wellness service for children and adults and the company provides school visits, day services for adults and hospices.
