A MAN who was three milligrammes of alcohol over the legal limit has been banned for drink driving.
Michael Cook, of Down Barn Farm in Cholderton, was driving his Vauxhall Astra in West Gomeldon when a concerned police officer pulled him over on May 10, 2023.
A blood test showed that the 42-year-old had 83 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his blood, just three over the legal limit.
Cook appeared before Salisbury Magistrates Court on Friday, October 27, where he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving for 40 months and ordered him to pay £253.
