A MAN who defrauded his family member of more than £10k must pay her £5,000 in compensation.
Shaun Little, 42, of Alabare Place, pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation and was sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates Court on October 19.
Between October 29, 2022, and March 12, 2023, at Durrington, Little dishonestly transferred £10,500 from bank accounts controlled by a family member into his personal bank account.
He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for 24 months, up to 30 days of rehabilitation activity requirement days and he must pay the victim £5,500 compensation.
This will be deducted from his benefits.
