Today marks the grand opening of the much-anticipated Rockbourne Fair, an annual event held at Salisbury Racecourse that raises money for the Stars Appeal.
People looking for gorgeous gifts, delightful treats and beautiful accessories will be delighted with this boutique shopping experience - and all for a good cause.
More than 100 handpicked Artisan stalls have been carefully curated with unique offerings from fashion, jewellery, and luxury homeware to gourmet food and toys and with two more days to go, there’s ample time for everyone to shop to their heart’s content and play a role in supporting The Stars Appeal.
Miss Anna Aertssen, Breast Surgeon at Salisbury Hospital and Stars Appeal Ambassador, said: “Launching the Rockbourne Fair is always an honour, but feeling the vibrant energy from both the shoppers and stallholders today truly emphasises the community spirit this event fosters.
"Remember, every purchase made is a step closer to our goal of raising £1 million for the Stars Appeal, enhancing care for patients at Salisbury District Hospital.”
The Fair has made a promising start to its three-day boutique shopping experience, with Bev Moulding, Faire committee chair saying “We’re all thrilled to see such a positive response on the first day.
"We have lots of happy shoppers and stallholders and the atmosphere is fantastic. We're looking forward to seeing more of you, especially for late-night shopping on Thursday!”
The Fair, which runs through Friday, October 20 with late-night shopping experience on Thursday, October 19 until 8pm.
