A vehicle has been seized by Dorset Police as part of an ongoing investigation into fly-tipping.
The grey VW Golf was seized by the East Dorset Neighbourhood Policing Team and North Dorset Neighbourhood Policing Team at 9.28am on Tuesday, October 3 at Manor Gardens in Verwood.
The vehicle is suspected to have been involved in recent fly-tipping incident in and around Verwood, during which household waste was dumped.
The investigation is now being led by the Dorset Waste Partnership of Dorset Council.
In July, the national government announced an increase to the maximum fine for fly-tipping as part of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Anti-Social Behaviour Action Plan. Those found guilty of the offence are now liable for a fine of up to £1,000.
