A MAN who was caught possessing unauthorised weapons on Salisbury Plain must attend rehabilitation sessions.
Elliot Gurd, of Churchill Avenue in Bulford, had a firearm, two canisters of pepper spray, an extendable baton, a baseball bat and a SEAC knife at Southern Transit, Bulford Ranges, on March 23.
The 28-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to the five charges at a Salisbury Magistrates Court hearing on September 21.
Gurd was sentenced to a 12-month community order for the knife offence and discharged conditionally for the other offences on Wednesday, September 27.
He must complete 100 hours of unpaid work, 12 mental health treatment sessions with Turning Point and comply with 10 days of rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Magistrates also ordered for the firearm, knife, baseball bat, extendable bat and pepper spray canisters to be destroyed and Gurd must pay £180.
