A quantity of high-value jewellery was stolen during a home burglary in East Dorset while the occupant was inside.
The incident occurred between 9.30pm and 10pm on Saturday, September 16 at an address on Lions Lane in Ashley Heath.
The offender is described as male, six feet tall and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded jumper.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to help solve the crime.

Police Constable Matt Cutler, of Dorset Police, said: “The jewellery that was stolen was of great sentimental value to the victim and we are doing all we can to identify the person responsible.
“I would like to hear from residents who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area.
“Also, if you were in the vicinity and have either a dashcam, home CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check your footage during the timeframe for anything that may help my enquiries.”
