A 92-YEAR-OLD lifelong aviation fan was treated to a meet and greet with the members of the Red Arrows team.
Stella Traylor, a former nurse at Boscombe Hospital was overjoyed to meet the team before their performance at the Bournemouth Air Festival.
Stella has always had a passion for aircraft and says she feels like a child at heart when she sees it in action.
This weekend her dream came true meeting her idols the RAF Red Arrows at Bournemouth Airport ahead of their display at Bournemouth Air Festival.
Stella had a team photo with the pilots and was also presented with some Red Arrow gifts.
Kim Sanger, Stella’s daughter, was delighted to see her mum so happy. She said: “She's been a big fan of the Red Arrows all her life. She just loves seeing them.
“It was great to meet the pilots and have a photo taken with them yesterday. She was so excited about that. She's still buzzing from it today.
“Stella wishes the team the very best for the future and will continue as always to keep an eye on the sky when the Reds are in town.”
