PEOPLE in a moving car were seen firing catapults at other vehicles in a town street.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the series of criminal damage incidents in Verwood.
Occupants of a silver Suzuki Vitara were witnessed aiming catapults at several other motorists as it drove through the town and in the areas of Home Farm Road and Station Road.
The window of a Barber’s shop in the Ringwood Road area was also damaged around the same time after also being reportedly shot by a catapult.
These incidents happened around 3pm on Wednesday, August 30.
Police Constable Chandler Organ, of East Dorset police, said: “The individuals involved in these incidents have put the public at significant risk of harm with their actions.
“We are determined to identify those responsible so we can take robust action against them.
“We are conducting a number of enquiries and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed these incidents or captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
