A DRIVER was pulled over by Wiltshire Police for having no car insurance.
Officers from Wiltshire's Roads Policing Unit stopped the driver of a Toyota Celica on the A303.
The police's database showed the vehicle had no insurance, police officers said on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday, September 4.

When questioned, a passenger said they were "just in the process of applying for insurance", according to Wiltshire Police.
The driver was reported under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
The full post from Wilts Specialist Ops reads: "RPU with this Toyota Celica stopped on the A303. Vehicle showing no insurance and funnily enough when stopped the drivers passenger was 'just in the process of applying for insurance' Driver Reported."
