THREE businesses in the Salisbury area which were inspected in August have been granted top marks for food hygiene standards.
Food hygiene standards checks are comprehensive and the grading goes from zero to five.

Nani Seafood, a new restaurant which was set up by Chef Dimitru Brinzila, at the Merchant’s House Hotel on Milford Street. It opened officially on Tuesday, July 19 and was awarded the top rating of five for food hygiene standards.
The inspection took place on Tuesday, August 22.
Dimitru said: “I was not worried because I keep everything fresh. I have 15 or 16-years’ experience and 10 years in Salisbury. The restaurant is a little slow at the moment, but I think it will pick up.”

The Yew Tree Inn at Whitsbury Road, in Odstock, were also awarded a grade five result following the inspection which took place on Thursday, August 24.
Owner Gordon Morisson said: “It is important to get it right. You have to have the right training and I was hoping we would do well, but we never set expectations.”
Sol Bakery & Café located at Chicklade Service Station, in Chicklade also received a five out of five grading when the business was inspected on Friday, August 11.
