A PHOTOGRAPH of a man allegedly connected to an assault that left another man with a fractured ankle has been released.

At around 3.30am on Sunday, July 2, a man in his 20s was assaulted on the corner of Brown Street outside The Lash Bar.

He sustained a fractured ankle as a result.

Wiltshire Police would like to speak to the man, pictured, in connection with the incident of grievous bodily harm.

Officers believe the man was in the Chapel nightclub before the assault and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Did you see him? Do you know who he may be?
