The Salisbury City Garden Bar has announced that it will be staying in its place on the Guildhall Square for an extra week as the long-awaited sunny weather continues.
The bar announced via its Facebook page on the afternoon of Saturday, September 2 that the city council had agreed to postpone the bar’s departure from the square until Sunday, September 10.

The post said: “It’s fair to say that the weather has not been on our side this summer.
“So, we are really pleased that Salisbury City Council have agreed a week’s extension so we can go out with a bang and enjoy a week of good weather.”
With the agreed extension, the Salisbury City Garden Bar will no close for the final time this year at 4pm on Sunday, September 10.
