MOTORISTS should take care when travelling on the A30 and A360 due to repair works and traffic lights causing delays.

On the A30, London Road, two-way signals are in place. Work is expected to continue from Tuesday, August 29 until Friday, September 15.

Two-way traffic signals are in place on the A360 close to the roundabout on Devizes Road. Work was anticipated to continue from Thursday, August 24 until Friday, September 1.

There is also traffic lights on Netherhampton Road. 

A spokesperson for SGN said: We’ve been carrying out emergency repair work in Devizes Road, Salisbury. That work is now complete; however, we are also currently carrying out planned work in Devizes Road to connect a new property to our gas network.

“Two-way temporary lights are in place so we can do this safely. All going well, we hope to complete this new connection by Monday, September 4.”

It added: "We’ve been carrying out gas mains upgrade work in London Road, which involves replacing our old metallic pipe with new plastic pipe to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply for the local community.

"Two-way temporary traffic lights are in place to ensure everyone’s safety while we work.

"We’re in the final phase of our project now, and all being well we’ll have completed our work by the end of next week."

Ongoing traffic delays are also expected due to work on the Fisherton Gateway Project on Fisherton Street and the River Park Project in Central Car Park.
