THE next full meeting of Salisbury City Council is on Monday (September 4).
The council will receive a presentation from Robin McGowan, Chief Executive Office, Salisbury BID, and to determine the Council’s vote in the BID Ballot in 2024, and a presentation from Wiltshire Council and Highways England concerning Fisherton Street, the Station Forecourt, the Harnham Gyratory and other major schemes in the city.

Also on the agenda is a motion to consider the lease or licence of land at Milford Hollow to the Milford Area Preservation Group.
It will also consider the following motion from Councillor Paul Sample: “The Council requests that the Officers now open negotiations with Wiltshire Council to ascertain the proposed terms and conditions upon which a transfer of Salisbury City Hall from Wiltshire Council to Salisbury City Council could be achieved and to report back to members.”
The meeting is at 6.30pm on Monday September 4 at Salisbury Guildhall.
