Salisbury’s motorists will have 28 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 10 closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
n A303, from 8pm August 16 to 6am August 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 both directions Deptford to Wilton roundabout closed for white lining. Diversion via A303, A360 and vice versa.
n A303, from 9pm August 17 to 6am August 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Winterbourne traffic lights for electrical works.
n A36, from 9am to 2pm on August 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 South Newton, traffic lights installed by Wessex Water.
n A36, from 9pm August 18 to 6am August 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 both directions Warminster Road to Bath Road roundabout closed for white lining. Diversion via A350, 361 and vice versa.
n A303, from 10pm August 18 to 4am August 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Both Directions Countess Rbt to Longbarrow Rbt two-way signals for sign repair.
