Up until Covid Salisbury District Hospital there was a Food Forum Committee made up of Volunteers and Hospital Staff which operated unannounced food audits on the wards which started off doing lunchtime audits and later doing audits of the evening meals.
Salisbury Hospital is one of the few hospitals that cook on sight using local produce and food is one of the flagships of the hospital and we had very few complaints but plenty of praise .
Place ward inspections have started again and I am hoping the food audits will soon start up again!
Yours faithfully
