Around 150 members, carers and guests attended the South Wilts Mencap annual summer BBQ at the Salisbury Rugby Club, an opportunity for the learning-disabled community of South Wiltshire to gather for an afternoon of fun, games and dancing.
Among the VIP guests at the Thursday, August 3 event were Salisbury’s John Glen MP and the mayor of Salisbury, Councillor Atiqul Hoque.
Those attending enjoyed a barbecue and bar provided by the rugby club, games and a tombola run by the South Wilts Mencap staff, as well as a disco from Steve St Claire.
