Here is a round-up of cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates' Court this week. 

GILEY JOHN BROWN, 39, The Valley, Bemerton Heath, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, namely a Ford Transit, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was issued a £480 fine and a victim surcharge of £192.

CHRISTOPHER STEPHEN BUSH, 60, Campbell Close, Greatly, Hampshire, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on The Avenue, Wilton, at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour. He was issued a £230, £92 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £110 in costs.

ALANIS JADE DANIELS, 23, Deptford, Wylye, Warminster, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes A 180 D SE Executive on Harnham Road, Harnham on December 5, 2022 at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour. She was fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28. Her driving record was endorsed with three points.

EMMANUEL JOHN, 35, Fugglestone, Wilton, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Polo on The Avenue, Wilton, at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on January 5, 2023. He was fined £110, issued a victim surcharge of £44 and ordered to pay costs of £50. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

IAN ROSCOE WATTS, 70, of Milldown Road to Nutford Farm, Nutford, Dorset, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes C63 on the A354 on November 16, 2022 without due care and attention. He was issued a fine of £3,200, a victim surcharge of £1,280 and ordered to pay costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

RYAN MICHAEL JONES, 23, Avon Reach, Middleton Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving an Isuzu Truck on The Avenue, Wilton, at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on October 13, 2022. He was issued a fine of £333, a victim surcharge of £133, and ordered to pay costs of £100. His driving record was endorsed with five points.
