HAVE you ever wondered what it's like to be a Giant?

Salisbury's Christopher III was back in the market square today, Tuesday, August 8, and I was lucky enough to have a go at operating him.

Now, not many people can say they've survived being inside a giant, and fortunately, I wasn't digested by him.

Christopher III is the third Giant of his kind to grace the streets of Salisbury.

He was 'born' in 1994, taking over from Christopher II.

The talk, entitled 'The Salisbury Giant - A Concise History', will take place at 2:30pm at Salisbury Library
