A WOMAN was hospitalised and a main road was closed for hours following a car crash.
At around 9.40pm on Sunday (July 30) emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash at Skew Bridge on the A36.
A woman in her 30s was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with injuries thought to be serious but not life-threatening, according to Wiltshire Police.

Wilton Road was closed until around 12.30am so that the vehicle could be recovered and the bridge checked for damage.
Eyewitnesses saw a helicopter circling the area near Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club after the crash.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were called at 9.35pm on Sunday, July 30, to an incident in Salisbury.
"We sent an air ambulance, two double-crewed land ambulances and an operations officer and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.”
