A FORMER pub manager has admitted to trespassing in the room of a sleeping woman and committing voyeurism.
Michael James Henry Asman, 32, of East Street, pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing on premises with intent to commit a relevant sexual offence and attempting to observe a person doing a private act at Salisbury Crown Court on Thursday, July 20.
On July 6, 2022, then-assistant manager Asman entered room number eight of the Chapter House and attempted to watch a woman, who was a guest staying in the pub, sleep.

The court heard how Asman was "very frank" when interviewed by police and said he was unsure of his intention when he entered her room.
The case was adjourned for sentencing until September 29 so that pre-sentencing and psychologist's reports can be completed.
Asman was released on conditional bail to not go to the Chapter House or contact the complainant, who must remain anonymous.
His Honour Judge Richard Parkes KC said: "The fact I'm releasing you on bail does not mean a custodial sentence is not a possibility. It very much is."
