LIGHTNING has been pictured striking through the clouds over Stonehenge in this amazing photo.
This beautiful photo, taken by Nick Bull, known to many as Stonehenge Dronescapes, was shared in the Salisbury Journal Camera Club on Facebook.
The gorgeous photo depicts the natural phenomenon of lightning bursting through the clouds above Wiltshire's famed historic monument.

The sepia tones make for an atmospheric photograph, with the stones standing tall in the shadows in the early hours of the morning.
In the caption on his photo, Nick explained how he had set out to take some photos of Noctilucent Clouds, and was surprised when he saw lightning over the Wiltshire countryside.
"Not what I went out for, nor what I was expecting."
Nevertheless, it made for a fantastic photo, Nick.
