THIS year's Wilton Carnival took place at Castle Meadows on Saturday, July 8.
All proceeds from this year's event, which was from 1pm to 10pm, went to Seeds4Success and the Wilton and District Thursday Club.
Carnival organisers posted on Facebook to thank everyone who helped, took part and "made the best of a really soggy" carnival.
Carnival chair Laura Twomey-Hunt added: "The efforts made by all were fantastic and made the hard work worthwhile.
"Time to rest a bit now and once recovered we will feedback on the successes and photos of the event and of course the fundraising total.
"Reading your comments between tidying up today has been wonderful, and I’m looking forward to seeing all your footage.
"Please show your appreciation and thanks to the committee and volunteers, who worked tirelessly to keep this now 75 year old event alive and well.
"Off to clean up my car and the house which looks like carnival has thrown up on it, and I’ll be back soon with that update."
