Salisbury District Hospital will be holding a walk-in session for stuffed animals to demonstrate to children and adults the steps staff, nurses and doctors take to ensure good health and care for ailments.
The event from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, July 22 will invite everyone in the community to experience life in the hospital and find out how it provides care for the people of Wiltshire and beyond.

Visitors can see demonstrations, tour the hospital, check out emergency service vehicles, learn about careers in healthcare and how the hospital works hard to protect the environment.
There will be army medics taking visitors back to the Second World War, reflecting on how caring for the wounded has changed over time, with a chance to meet the team behind the construction of the hospital’s new ward.
Most importantly, bring your favourite toy teddy or T-Rex with you for a full health check by the hospital’s children’s health team. A fun and educational event for all, there will be ice cream, food and free parking.
