THE Flying Scotsman has been travelling through Salisbury, this gallery of stunning photos shows the legendary steam train on its journey.
On Wednesday, June 22, the Flying Scotsman, Britain's most famous steam locomotive, stopped in Salisbury as part of its centenary celebrations.
The 100-year-old train is pictured in the city, as it stopped for four hours before making its way to London Paddington.
This year has marked 100 years of service for the locomotive, which was built in Doncaster in 1923.
The centenary journey through the South East was a landmark occasion and was completely sold out.
Prices ranged from the most expensive fare, a Premier Family ticket costing £1045 to the cheapest Standard Junior ticket which cost £125.
