RESIDENTS are being urged to close their windows and avoid the area after a devastating fire destroyed a property.
The blaze spread from a property in Tisbury to the surrounding area including the train line.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue reported that firefighters were on the scene at 7.47pm this evening, June 14.
A spokesperson for the service said: "Local residents are advised to keep doors and windows shut due to the smoke plume.
"Please avoid the area where possible."
