UPDATES on important plans for the city will be discussed at a public meeting next week.
Salisbury Area Board is a meeting where members of Wiltshire Council agree on local priorities.
The upcoming meeting starts at 6pm on Thursday, June 15, at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre.
Councillors will hear from a number of speakers about developments of local importance.
There will be an update on the proposed £20m investment to improve the A36 from Chris Hilldrup at National Highways.
The last update on this development came on March 9 at the last area board meeting.

The future of City Hall, which closed as an entertainment venue in March 2020, will also be discussed.
Wiltshire Council previously told the Journal that it is looking to invest millions to "revitalise" the building.
David Redfern, director of leisure, culture and communities at Wiltshire Council, will be providing the update.

An update report on Harnham Gyratory, Exeter Street and College Roundabout will be mentioned at the meeting.
Tying in with the A36 National Highways scheme, head of highways Dave Thomas will talk about traffic modelling.
The Maltings development will also be mentioned with a written update provided.
According to the agenda, a planning application for the Maltings is going to be submitted in the coming months.
