Several Wiltshire schools have received the results of recent Ofsted inspections - and six of them did not impress.
After visits from the education watchdog in the Spring Term, only one school got the lowest rating possible of Inadequate, St Martins CofE (VA) Primary School in Salisbury.
The following schools were rated Requires Improvement:
- Pewsey Vale Secondary School
- Noremarsh Junior School
- St Nicholas CE Primary School Bromham
- Avon Valley Academy
- Southbroom Infant School
At the other end of the scale, two schools achieved the coveted Outstanding rating from Ofsted. They are:
- Ramsbury CE Primary School
- Preshute CE Primary School
All other schools evaluated in this period were given a Good rating.

The report is set to be discussed at the children’s select committee on June 6.
